Feast is a large meal, typically a celebratory one
And what better occasion than a Thiruonam one
13 to 25 dishes over fresh plantain leaf for every one
Can stretch to no less than 65 items for each one
Feast O’ Feast – ONA SADYA!!!

To consume the feast is a divine gift
Whilst who completes is perfectly fit
Concept of spoon or fork do not exist
Just have the feast with a fist
For every near and dear – Feast O’ Feast!!!

Every item has a definite place
On the plantain leaf that forms the base
Upperi, Sharkara Varatti, Achaaru, Chammanthi, Puliyinji, Inji Curry
Pachadi, Kichadi, Olan, Kaalan, Injithairu and Kootu Curry
Follows Aviyal, Thoran, Mezhkkupuratti, Erissery

kuthari choru with Parippu, Sambar, Rasam and Pulissery
Munch as many Pappadom with every curry
It is not over until u get prathaman and payasam before sambharam lovely
And you wind up with the little banana in the tummy
Mother of all Feasts – The ONA SADYA on Thiruonam !!!
